ITINERARY
DAY 1 (MONDAY)
Welcome aboard this short break, summer special to the capital city of Massachusetts. Following our morning drive to the city of Boston, nicknamed “Beantown”, (you’ll find out why) our first stop will be high above the heart of Boston on a 360-observation deck offering breathtaking and orienting views of the city atop one of the tallest buildings in New England.

Ascend to the top of the Prudential Tower’s 52nd floor for incredible indoor panoramic views of the city, no matter where you stand. Get an even better look at the spectacular city skyline from The Lookout elevated viewing platforms and use the Virtual Viewers to learn more about the City’s many landmarks and attractions.

Once we are back on solid ground travel the short distance to visit the historic Boch Center Wang Theatre and take a behind-the-scenes tour of one of Boston’s most prominent landmarks, plus get an exclusive look at the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame and its multiple exhibits! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the theatre has been one of the premier theatrical destinations in Boston since opening in 1925. Rivaled by few other theatres in the world, it boasts a seating capacity of 3,500 and one of the five largest stages in the U.S.

Stand on the stage graced by Mikhail Baryshnikov, Queen, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Liza Minnelli and more!
A late afternoon check-in at our centrally located hotel with some free time to relax will be followed by your first included group dinner. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure.
DAY 2 (TUESDAY)
Enjoy a full American breakfast at our host hotel before heading out to meet up with our costumed guide for the 90-minute walking tour of the “Freedom Trail” to hear the story of the American Revolution and beyond. Some of the sights included will be, Boston Commons, The Old State House, Park Street Church, Old South Meeting House, Boston Massacre Site, Paul Revere House, and Faneuil Hall to name but a few!

By this time, I’m sure you’ll be ready for a hearty Bostonian lunch! Find a local tavern or visit Quincy Market at Faneuil Hall, with 25 local eateries, you’ll never leave hungry. Did you know the Brits still enjoy putting their baked beans on toast, don’t knock it, till you’ve tried it!! Once you’ve had free time on your own to visit some of the local sights, our next stop in this city, which was named after the first settlers that came from Boston, England, is the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
Be a part of the famous event that forever changed the course of American history through a multi-sensory experience that includes live actors, interactive exhibits, and full-scale replica 18th-century sailing vessels! Enter the Meeting House and step back in time to rebellious 1773 Boston and meet Samuel Adams – your 18th century host! This is where you’ll start your journey to learning about the “single most important event leading up to the American Revolution” – the Boston Tea Party – where it all began during the colonial town meeting.
You’ll even get the opportunity to throw tea into the very same body of water where the Boston Tea Party took place over 240 years ago. Return to the hotel to relax and prepare for our included, farewell dinner cruise, sailing the waters of Boston Harbor. Watch the sunset and city lights glisten from the climate-controlled decks as you enjoy listening to the live musical entertainment onboard the vessel.

DAY 3 (WEDNESDAY)
Another included full American breakfast will be enjoyed before packing your bags and preparing for the journey home today. But, before we leave “Beantown” (Baked beans in molasses), no visit to Boston is complete unless you can say “I went to Harvard”! Prior to our guided tour of Harvard University, we will tour the home of the Red Sox baseball team. See the home of Red Sox Legends, Williams, Yaz, Fisk and Rice. Visit Pesky's Pole and sit atop the fabled Green Monster 37 feet 2 inches high above deep leftfield. Our experienced tour guide will provide a thrilling, one hour, walking tour of Fenway Park.

Once we have received our “Hahvahd” education it will be almost time to say goodbye to Boston and board the motorcoach for home. Time will be given for lunch on your own in Harvard Square prior to our departure.
